Metaverse Forum

Today we live in a digitalised world and with the emergence of the metaverse comes the fear of losing real customs and experiences. In these virtual worlds, experiences can be shared, but they are not connected to each other. Enrique Cantero and Luis Sotillos explain the need to connect the worlds in order to collect experiences, money, information..... The problems they mention about the metaverse have to do with commercial interests. For an efficient use of these virtual worlds it is necessary that all virtual worlds are integrated and share different resources.

Will the metaverse replace real experience?

Ana Alonso poses this question to the speakers.

All agree that they will not be replaced as real experiences generate emotions and sensations that are impossible to obtain through technology. The metaverse will support and enhance experiences and unique and unrepeatable moments will be possible thanks to these modernities.

The metaverse can help the tourism sector not only because of the digital advisors (which are fundamental nowadays), but also in the creation of impressive experiences that can only be lived virtually. These experiences can be added to any destination to amplify the experience and make it unique.

Some of the examples mentioned by the speakers are to experience moments from the past virtually and make you feel as if you were there living it live. For example, experiencing a war while looking at a painting or going to any place that is impossible to access in real life.

Thanks to these virtual worlds we will be able to see in advance places that are not within our reach and decide whether we want to go in person and experience them for real. This will help to make a prior selection of places, restaurants, museums .... without having to go in person.

Thanks to Probusiness Place, Enrique Cantero, Luis Sotillos and Ana Alonso for making this possible, it has been a very enriching event.
