The day began at 16:00 with a visit to KBr MAPFRE Foundationa benchmark space in Barcelona dedicated to the contemporary and documentary photography. Located opposite the Olympic Port, this exhibition centre stands out for its commitment to the dissemination of visual art through exhibitions of renowned photographers and new talents.
Attendees had the opportunity to tour one of their current exhibits, immersing themselves in a visual journey that combined history, culture and creativity before giving way to the gastronomic experience of SIExquisito Barcelona.
At 17:30the Cuenca City Council presented "The Basin of the 5 Senses".a sensory experience designed to transport visitors to the heart of this World Heritage City.
Historian and populariser Miguel Romero was in charge of opening the experience, guiding the guests through a tour of the most evocative sounds, images and stories of Cuenca. With his words, he managed to immerse everyone in its cobbled streets, its imposing historic centre and the cultural richness that defines it.
The experience continued with a gastronomic proposal created by Enki López and his teaminspired by the most authentic flavours of the region. From the restaurant KadonThey reinterpreted the tradition in a single mouthful that captured the essence of Cuenca, paired with a local craft beer. At 18:30, Villas Alondra took the audience back to the essence of Lanzarote through an exclusive gastronomic experience. In their presentation, they highlighted their concept of luxury and wellness, where nature and gastronomy play a key role.
As part of this immersion into the destination, they introduced Althay Winerya benchmark in the island's viticulture, whose wines reflect the volcanic character and uniqueness of the Lanzarote terroir. The tasting allowed us to discover the richness in nuances of their wines, paired with a Kentia-inspired coverthe restaurant at Villas Alondra.
