
The fourth edition of Coming Up!, organised by SIE, Spain is Excellence, consolidates Spain as a world reference in tourism.
The meeting brought together businessmen, investors and institutional representatives interested in learning about the strategic advantages offered by the Costa Rican market.
With the support of partners such as ProBusiness Place, MundHotel and the exceptional setting of the Four Seasons Hotel Madrid, the event was consolidated as a key platform to boost business interest in Costa Rica. Featured speakers included the Costa Rican Ambassador to Spain, Ms. Adriana Bolaños Argueta, the Director of the Costa Rican Foreign Promotion Office (PROCOMER), Mr. Jorge Zamora, and the Minister Counsellor Carolina Fernández, who offered a comprehensive overview of the country's investment environment.
The forum addressed key issues such as social peace, political stability, legal certainty, strategic location, skilled human capital and the attractive tax incentive regime. The diversity of the country's exports, its capacity for innovation and the 18 free trade agreements that strengthen its global trade network were also highlighted.
The forum facilitated a valuable exchange of ideas and enabled strategic connections to be established among the attendees, laying the groundwork for future business collaborations. With its focus on relevant topics and its ability to generate synergies, the Diplomatic Forum reaffirmed its role as a space of reference to boost economic cooperation between Spain and Costa Rica.
