When art is savoured: the most exclusive experience at the Thyssen Museum and Four Seasons this Christmas

A private visit before the opening of the museum and a menu inspired by the masterpieces: this is the proposal that turns art into flavour and gastronomy into narrative.

Some experiences are unforgettable because they activate all the senses. This Christmas, the National Museum Thyssen-Bornemisza y Four Seasons Hotel Madrid present a proposal that unites two languages that have always been in dialogue with each other: painting and gastronomy. An intimate tour of the museum before it opens to the public and a lunch inspired by the most evocative canvases in the collection. Perfect as a gift. Perfect as a gift.

A museum in silence, a tour just for you

The experience begins when the first visitor has not yet entered. Behind closed doors, an expert guide leads you through the themed tour. Gastronomywhere the works dialogue with what brings us together around a table: colour, texture, desire.

Because, as the proverb says, "we eat more with our eyes than with our mouths".. And here, before tasting anything, one discovers how painters and chefs share a way of telling the world: through emotion.

From museum to table: art continues at Four Seasons

After the visit, the experience moves on to The Courtyardthe elegant Four Seasons restaurant. There, a four-course menu turns every play into a bite, and every story into a taste.

A gastronomic journey where tradition, technique and story merge as naturally as a canvas becomes a work of art.

Some of the morsels that tell stories:

Oyster passion

Inspired by Eating oysters (1665-1669), by Jacob Ochtervelt.
In painting, the oyster symbolises sensuality and pleasure. Here it is accompanied by a Bellinithe iconic Venetian cocktail created by Giuseppe Cipriani and inspired by the palette of Giovanni Bellini. Art and desire, in a single gesture.

The Countess's carpaccio

Vittore Carpaccio, Young gentleman in a landscape (1505).
The famous carpaccio owes its origin to Countess Amalia Nani Mocenigo, for whom the dish was created. Its red tones recall the vibrant palette of the Venetian painter. A culinary tribute that has become a classic.

Nedick's special

Richard Estes, Nedick's (1970).
Hyperrealism creeps into the menu with an amusing reinterpretation of the hot dog that made this New York chain famous. A pop wink, as unexpected as it is memorable.

The temptation of the apple

Jan Gossaert, Adam and Eve (1507-1508).
The forbidden fruit becomes here a heavenly dessert. A golden apple that plays with the symbolism of temptation, beauty and pleasure... this time, without guilt.

An experience to savour art in a different way

The perfect plan for lovers of art, gastronomy and experiences that cannot be replicated. Ideal as a surprise this Christmas or as a gift that combines culture, emotion and sophistication.

A unique collaboration between Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum y Four Seasons Hotel Madridwhere each dish is born from a canvas... and each work awakens a flavour.
