From 15 to 19 March, SIE, Spain Is Excellence organised an exclusive FAM Trip for five agencies specialising in the UK market, with the aim of showcasing the best of Spain in terms of luxury, art and gastronomy. The carefully designed trip allowed participants to explore Spain's unique destinations, highlighting its most exclusive offerings and providing a personalised and unique experience.
The journey began in Lanzarotethe volcanic jewel of the Canary Islandsfamous for its unique landscape. Attendees had the opportunity to stay in Villas AlondraThe hotel is a luxurious place surrounded by a breathtaking natural environment. The welcome dinner at Arenas Lounge allowed participants to enjoy a unique culinary experience, while immersing themselves in Canarian culture. During their stay, they also explored the artistic legacy of the Canary Islands. César Manriquevisiting the charming village of Teguise and enjoying a surprise stop that highlighted the natural beauty of the island.
The group continued its journey to Madridwhere they enjoyed a day full of art, culture y gastronomy. The tour began with a private visit to the prestigious Thyssen-Bornemisza Museumwhere attendees had the opportunity to discover one of the most important art collections in Spain, with an exclusive tour that allowed them to explore the most emblematic pieces in an intimate way.
They then enjoyed a exclusive brunch and visited the luxurious Hyatt Regency Hesperia Madrida five-star hotel located on the Paseo de la Castellana. The day continued with a gastronomic experience organised by Godwanawhich included a dinner at the exclusive Amazon Restaurant and a flamenco show in the emblematic Corral de la Moreríaone of the most important flamenco tablaos in the world. This experience not only immersed the attendees in the Spanish culinary tradition, but also in the art of flamenco, one of Spain's most outstanding forms of cultural expression.
The FAM Trip culminated in the exclusive Costa del Solin Marbellawhere participants stayed in the Puente Romano Beach Resorta luxury resort known for its privileged location facing the Mediterranean Sea. In Marbella, attendees enjoyed a relaxed, yet sophisticated atmosphere, with a informal evening at the emblematic restaurant El Pimpiat the Puente Romano Hotel. During their stay, they also visited other exclusive accommodations in the area, such as the Anantara Villa Padiernaand participated in a cooking class which culminated in a lunch full of traditional flavours.
The Marbella experience offered a unique opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty of the Costa del Sol, while discovering the luxury services of the best resorts in the region. The combination of relaxation, culture and gastronomy made this leg of the trip an unforgettable experience.
