Rosewood Villa Magna and Jaime Hayon present an inflatable sculpture as a metaphor for the struggle to keep love.

Rosewood Villa Magna presents Love Catcher, Jaime Hayon's inflatable sculpture as part of Madrid Design Festival and FORMA 2026, a visual metaphor about the struggle to preserve love.

The Madrid hotel presents Love Catcher as part of the Madrid Design Festival and FORMA, an installation by Jaime Hayon that transforms its gardens into a visual ode to love and contemporary creativity.

Rosewood Villa Magna reaffirms its commitment to creativity and artistic innovation by participating, for yet another year, in the Madrid Design Festival and at its new international trade fair for collectible design, FORM.

From 18 February to 16 March 2026, the iconic hotel joins forces with renowned artist and designer Jaime Hayon to present Love Catcheran installation that transforms the gardens of Rosewood Villa Magna into an unexpected setting where the imagination comes to life.

The proposal is an eight-metre high inflatable sculpture that imitates bronze and is conceived as a metaphor for the struggle to preserve love. Suspended in the air, the piece defies gravity and the logic of matter, inviting us to reflect on love as an active exercise in reaching and lifting. With the hybrid figure of a humanised bird stretching out to catch a heart, Hayon reminds us that beauty may be ephemeral, but its impact endures.

Thanks to this collaboration, Rosewood Villa Magna is projected as a cultural reference in Madrid. More than a hotel, it is a space where the city reinvents itself through art and design. Every corner reflects a cosmopolitan and sophisticated vision, designed for those seeking experiences that transcend the conventional. During the festival, the hotel will be the setting for encounters and experiences that celebrate creativity, reinforcing its role as the epicentre of design and innovation.

As in all his work, Jaime Hayon contributes to Love Catcher his unmistakable creative universe, where art, design and a playful yet deeply emotional imagination come together. Internationally recognised for his vibrant aesthetic, his mastery of craftsmanship and his narrative approach, Hayon has built over more than two decades a visual language of his own, characterised by bold shapes, intense colours and symbolic characters that explore the human through fantasy.

Love Catcher thus becomes a natural extension of his artistic practice: an invitation to stop, feel and participate in a poetic instant suspended in space. A piece that embodies Hayon's creative spirit and dialogues with Rosewood Villa Magna's commitment to culture and design.

"It is an ode to fellowship; a declaration that only love, in its lightest and most shared essence, is capable of propelling us forward".
