SIE promotes the value of cultural tourism within the framework of the Catalan Year of Culture
The day began with a private visit to Casa Batllóone of the great icons of modernism and Gaudí's legacy in Barcelona. The experience allowed us to approach heritage from a more experiential perspective, highlighting the capacity of culture to generate an emotional connection with the destination.
Afterwards, the meeting continued at The One Barcelona, where a round table focused on the growing role of cultural tourism as a driver of attraction for travellers who are increasingly interested in understanding destinations through their identity, history and meaning.
During the conversation, the opportunities that this segment represents for Spanish tourism were discussed, as well as the need to build proposals capable of integrating heritage, authenticity and experience.
The session was attended by representatives of the Catalan Tourism Agencytogether with professionals from the tourism, cultural and hospitality sectors, including Ana Alonso BohoyoCEO of SIE, Spain Is Excellence .
With initiatives like this, SIE continues to strengthen its commitment to quality tourism, where culture is consolidated as one of the main vectors of value and differentiation for destination Spain.
